How We Review

Every product, device, or program covered on Smokers Lung Health Review goes through the same verification steps before it appears in an article. This page explains that process so you can judge our work for yourself.

Our Verification Process

1. Source audit. We pull the product name, full ingredient or component list, pricing, refund policy, and manufacturer contact information directly from the brand’s own materials.
2. Label vs. marketing check. For supplements, we compare the Supplement Facts panel against marketing claims and flag any discrepancy explicitly in the article rather than silently repeating marketing copy.
3. Evidence check. We look for named, verifiable research — publicly locatable studies with an identifiable author, year, and journal. Where no such research exists, we say the evidence is preliminary, limited, or unverified.
4. Regulatory check. We confirm current FDA/DEA status for any regulated ingredient or category, since this can change without notice.
5. Currency check. Pricing, policy terms, and regulatory status are re-verified before an article is refreshed, not just cosmetically re-dated.
